Key takeaways
- For a first stay or a nervous dog, book a daycare day first; some dogs must complete a daycare assessment.
- Arrive before 3 pm on the first stay so your dog can settle in and join the day’s activities.
- A short, calm goodbye usually helps dogs relax faster.
Daycare first, then boarding
For first-timers, nervous dogs or dogs with little social experience, we recommend a daycare day first so they get to know the place, the staff and the other dogs. Dogs with separation anxiety, unneutered males, or a history of aggression or barging must complete a daycare assessment before boarding. The assessment takes place after you leave, so we see how your dog really behaves.
On check-in day
- Arrive before 3 pm so your dog can settle in and join the day’s activities, making it easier to sleep at night.
- Bring the original vet-stamped vaccination booklet and a copy of your ID or driver’s licence.
- Pack your dog’s usual food and medication, with feeding amounts and medication times written down.
- Tell us about your dog’s habits, fears and favourite things.
Keep goodbyes short
The harder a goodbye, the more anxious a dog tends to get. Keep handover calm and brief, then leave your dog with our staff. Most dogs start exploring and meeting other dogs soon after their owner leaves.

During the stay and back home
We send photos and videos on LINE every day. Back home, your dog may be tired and drink more — usually a sign of a fun stay. If they stop eating, have diarrhoea or seem unwell for long, contact your vet. See caring for your dog after boarding.
